ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರ ಗ್ರಂಥ. ಗಾಂಧಾರಿ, ಕುಂತಿ, ದ್ರೌಪದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಡಿದ ಯೋಧರ ವಿಧವೆಯರ ವಿಲಾಪ. ನಲವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ತಪಃಶಕ್ತಿ ದುಃಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಡಿದು ಗಾಂಧಾರಿ ಯುಧಿಷ್ಠಿರನನ್ನೇ ಸುಡುವಷ್ಟಾದದ್ದು. ಕರ್ಣ ತನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನೆಂದು ಕುಂತಿ ಬಹಿರಂಗಪಡಿಸಿ ಪಾಂಡವರಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ದುಃಖ ತಂದದ್ದು. ಧೃತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಭೀಮನನ್ನು ಅಪ್ಪಿ ಪುಡಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೋದಾಗ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ಇಟ್ಟದ್ದು.
