ಅರಣ್ಯದ ಗ್ರಂಥ — ಅತಿ ದೀರ್ಘ ಪರ್ವ. ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ವನವಾಸ. ನಳ–ದಮಯಂತಿ ಆಖ್ಯಾನ, ಸಾವಿತ್ರಿ–ಸತ್ಯವಾನ ಕಥೆ, ದ್ರೌಪದಿ–ಸತ್ಯಭಾಮಾ ಸಂವಾದ, ಅರ್ಜುನನ ತಪಸ್ಸು ಮತ್ತು ದಿವ್ಯಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಿ, ಯಕ್ಷಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ, ಕರ್ಣನ ಕವಚದಾನ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಮೋಪಾಖ್ಯಾನ.
